PT Cruiser

Well, I have been thinking about a new car for quite awhile now. My 1999 Ford Mustang has been the bestest car a girl could ask for, but it’s had better days and the rear brakes went out just shortly after I got the front ones replaced. I think that was a sign that it was time. That and the fact that everyone was concerned for my safety driving around in the thing. Is it pathetic that I hope it finds a good second home?

I am excited because my new PT Cruiser (Touring Edition) has a fab new stereo and satellite system, but I am sad because I have so many great memories in my car. It’s the car I had when I met David, and we used it as our get-away car at our wedding. See, I can’t even post about it without tearing up. Also the giant check I wrote the dealership was pretty hard to sign. I don’t think that part has sunk in yet. – $19,400

Ionic Curlers

I never thought I’d say it, but I am actually getting bored with my straight hair that I “Chi” everyday. It’s true. Now that it’s getting longer again, I’m thinking about helping enhance my natural curl with some ionic curlers. I’m not sure what kind I really want yet, but it’d be ideal to throw some up at night and go to bed. Do you know how much extra time I could sleep every morning instead of doing my hair?! It’d be fabulous. – $36.99

TiVo

This girl would really love a TiVo. My BFF has one, and I just love the fun little sounds it makes. Even better would be having the ability to keep up with all the popular shows that are on these days. I have no clue about Lost, Grey’s, or even 24. I’d also be able to keep up with the Bold & the Beautiful– the soap I’ve been watching on and off nearly my whole life. That would be worth it right there alone, right?! – Free to $799

Cream Liqueur

I seriously work with a bunch of lushes (which is not always a bad thing). We had a “Dirty Santa” exchange tonight at our holiday party, and the most popular thing to bring and “steal” were liqueur sets. I ended up with a mocha caramel liqueur and glass set which I am really looking forward to having– maybe on New Years with David. Tell me why we were suppose to spend $25 yet this is about $10 shy? No wonder everyone was fighting over the cash too. I don’t buy liquor that often so I had no idea how much it was worth. Still, I’m really looking forward to it and may invest in another bottle.  We can make some yummy chocolate martinis! –$13.99

The Devil Wears Prada

I absolutely loved this movie and I can’t wait to get my hands on the DVD when it finally comes out on Tuesday. I am also getting a copy for my mom– she liked it even more than me! This is the last “girlie” movie I remember actually enjoying, and it’s been awhile since I added a new movie to my collection.  I am not a big fan of Anne Hathaway, but I thought Meryl Streep gave a great performance. If you’ve ever experienced a boss from hell, you will like this movie.  –$16.98

I’m curious about “The Holiday” too . That’s the Kate Winslet/Cameron Diaz/Jude Law/Jack Black rom-com. I doubt D would touch it with a 10-foot poll, but I may be able to talk a friend or two into giving it a chance.
