For those of us with furry children, we’re always on the lookout for cute clothes and fun items. I found this chihuahua t-shirt that I think is pretty perfect for my little guy. He just celebrated his 4th birthday, so this would make a great belated gift. This site also sells t-shirts for other breeds as well as other items for our spoiled pets. Viva la revolution! – $22.09

MySpace Cursors

I am a big fan of MySpace. I have spent a lot of time looking at backgrounds and perfecting my layout. One of my favorite fun additions are Free Cursors. Currently my page has a glitter pink cursor, and it really pulls together my Coach handbag theme.

I do not usually add people I don’t already know, and my profile is also private. I’ve been noticing that is becoming the trend lately. I used to be able to surf through other member’s profiles to see what cute layouts and cursors they have. Sometimes I’d even ask them where they found them. There are lots of sites where you can get help on “pimping” your MySpace.

I was checking out the Free Cursors on this site and there are some pretty good ones. I grew up playing Nintendo and Mario, so I love the fireball Mario cursor. They have lots of cartoon characters, aliens, South Park, The Simpsons, Space, Super Heros, Sports, Disney, and lots more too. With so many options, you can certainly change your cursor and layout everyday. If you’re feeling in a Peanuts mood one day but a Disney mood the next, you have all kinds of options. Best of all, it’s free!

Zeus Comforter Set

Filed under: Home — Laurie @ 10:56 am
I have been looking for some fun Parisian looking bedding for our new house. I plan on decorating the master bedroom with a lot of the Paris items I have collected over the past 5 years. I finally found an affordable comforter set. Normally I like Ralph Lauren bedding, but I couldn’t find a black & white set that I like. This one is pretty perfect, and it comes with a bed skirt and two shams. C’est magnifique! – $129.99

Purse Page

I am glad I was able to discover Purse Page! I am a handbag fanatic as you all know. I have a little problem when it comes to buying handbags and accessories, so this site is right up my ally. I am sure that they are going to help me discover tons of things I cannot live without, which is really a mixed blessing.

I love that there is a category for nearly every designer. I found the COACH page and blog entries right away since that is of course my favorite maker of affordable handbags. In this video I talk about my newest bag and my favorite bag. Enjoy!

Boyles Discount Living Room Furniture

Filed under: Home — Laurie @ 4:26 pm
I have been looking at a lot of furniture stores for discount prices on living room sets. I thought I was for sure settled on a beige and black theme, but when I saw this blue (my favorite color) Boyles discount living room with a cream sofa… I fell in love. I think the shades of cream and the navy blue pattern look really pretty and modern together. I also like that you can buy each piece separately from this site. – call for price quote

Sanford Round Pedistal Dinning Room Table Set

Our new house will have a formal dining room as well as an area for a table in the kitchen. We plan on buying all new furniture when we move in late September/early October, so I have my eyes peeled for discount furniture online. I am in love with this Sanford Round Pedistal Dinning Room Table Set. I have gone to a lot of furniture stores in the past few weeks, so I have seen a lot of tables just like this one. The price on this set online is almost unbeatable anywhere that I have seen, and the quality looks as good as the ones I’ve seen at Pottery Barn and other stores. The site is really easy to navigate, and there are many kinds of furniture to browse. I am sure to find more that just one of my dining table sets here. Evil Internet! – $319

Bob’s Sweet Stripe Mints

Filed under: Yum — Laurie @ 11:35 am
I am OBSESSED with Bob’s Sweet Stripe Mints. Ever had those melt in your mouth butter mints at a wedding or family gathering? My grandma used to have them around her house, so the taste is a memory for me. These peppermint ones are even better though– just beware because they are addictive. I am excited that I can get 160 for such a good price. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! – $6.65

Canvas on Demand

Filed under: Home — Laurie @ 11:16 am
I am very excited about the photo enlargement I will be ordering from CanvasonDemand.com. Since we are moving into a new home later this year, I have been looking for ways to decorate the living room. I was thinking that I would love to get another one of our wedding pictures enlarged to fit in an inset that is going to be build into our living room wall. These are really cool because all you do is submit your favorite photo, and they reproduce it onto a canvas.  Ours will be placed on a 16×20 canvas. I cannot wait to share the finished product with all of you. – check website for various prices

Webkinz

Filed under: Fun — Laurie @ 9:52 am
Yesterday I bought both my friend and I a Webkinz. I hear that they are the new craze a la Beanie Babies. I admit that back in the day I had nearly every one of those things, and even spent $50 to $100 on some “rare” bears such as the Princess Diana one. I worked at Hallmark for fun because I love stationary and gifts so much, and when I go back to visit I see people going nuts for these things. They look like ordinary stuffed animals.

Aparently the “special” thing about them is that you can go online to their website and register to play games. I haven’t done that part yet. I bought us each a chihuahua in honor of our dog’s birthday yesterday. I am hoping this isn’t some other fad that I get sucked into. They are twice as expensive as beanie babies, and take up twice as much space too!– $14

Apple iPhone

My dumb pink RAZR crapped out two days ago. I had to go spend $50 to replace it. I really wanted to flush the sucker, or throw it out the window. Alas, I still need a working phone- at least until the new Apple iPhone comes out on June 29. Have you seen the iPhone Review and Video on WhatGoodIsYourOldPhone.com?

There’s nothing more attractive to me than a boy that can play piano and sing, so I love this one. The tear on the phone had me in stitches.

That video, and the fact that I could win an iPhone of my very own inspired me to create my own video. I actually got to act out one of my cruel cell phone dreams. Check it out:
